LB23AW-KN01-TRA-DA | Thread knitting intarsia sweater | IVORY

A new cropped intarsia sweater that expresses the theme of the current collection with a special knit.
Intarsia is made using a home knitting machine, but in reality, only the knitting process changes two different structures, the knitted structure and the woven structure, and shapes them into a single part. (This is definitely not a switch.)

The back jersey part of the ground has an orthodox knitting structure, but the other parts use a method called thread knitting, which has the same structure as the woven structure.
This is truly an amazing technique, as the yarn paths are created by hand and the yarn is changed to match the graphics created by the designer. It would be fine if it was a straight line change, but since the thread is curved and changed one stitch at a time, it is truly a daunting task. . I really appreciate it.

This collection was inspired by the philosophy and thoughts of Daniel Arsham, and the design was based on his most famous works.
I interpreted this in my own way and expressed it through the filter of clothes, this time using thread and knitting. With respect.
