Gradient flower bleach denim twist-sleeve shirt using Kyoto's discharge printing technique. 
Discharge printing is a highly skilled technique that is difficult to reproduce outside of Japan. 
Even in Japan, only a few dye factories still carry on this technique, making it a precious culture that we wish to preserve. 
For this collection, we used two types of dyeing for the ground fabric: indigo dyeing (INDIGO BLEACHED) and sulfide dyeing (BLACK DENIM). By using fabrics from these dyeing processes, we achieve an abstract floral pattern with a natural, blurred effect.
Although a stencil is used, each piece has a slightly different expression, which is one of its key features.
The body is a twist-sleeve shirt developed from a toile. 
It expresses the concepts of "twist" and "distortion" which are the design concepts for this season.

DESCRIPTION

A bleached denim twisted-sleeve shirt featuring a gradient floral pattern, created using the traditional Kyoto discharge printing technique. This highly skilled technique is said to be difficult to replicate outside of Japan. Even within Japan, only a few dyeing factories still practice this method today, making it a valuable cultural heritage we wish to preserve. For this item, we've used two types of ground fabric: indigo-dyed (INDIGO BLEACHED) and sulfur-dyed (BLACK DENIM). The unique dyeing process results in an abstract floral pattern with a natural, blurred effect. Although a stencil is used, each piece has subtle variations in its appearance, which is part of its charm. The body of the shirt is a twisted-sleeve design developed from a toile, expressing the seasonal design concepts of "twist" and "distortion."
