For this collection, we've re-engineered the "growing ivy jacquard 2.0" with updated graphics and yarn blend, and a reconstructed carpenter jacket. This season's jacquard is designed with the concept of making the ivy stand out through washing and aging.

Using a jacquard loom, polyester is used for the warp threads and cotton and polyurethane for the weft threads. By weaving the polyurethane yarn (Marlon yarn) only into the ivy pattern areas, making it sink to the back (hidden on the reverse side), the ivy sections are designed to shrink more easily. This principle, combined with washing, makes the ivy appear textured and raised.

After the fabric is woven, it undergoes a washer finish (pre-wash of the fabric). Then, after sewing into a product, it receives an additional product wash and is finished with a low-temperature tumble dry. By the time it becomes a product, the ivy already has a textured, raised appearance. We hope you enjoy how the ivy becomes even more prominent and its shape subtly changes with repeated wear and washing.

This piece features a color scheme inspired by dried ivy clinging to a concrete wall. The body inherits the JK02 from the previous season. Designed with reconstruction as its theme, it incorporates selvedge and cut-offs in its details. Combined with the wash treatment, it has a vintage feel. If using a tumble dryer for care, low to medium temperature is recommended.

*Fraying is part of the design. It will change with repeated wear. While stitching has been applied to prevent excessive fraying and is designed not to affect quality, please refrain from deliberately pulling strongly, as this may cause unexpected damage.

DESCRIPTION

We have redesigned the graphics and yarn composition for our "Growing Ivy Jacquard 2.0 Reconstructed Carpenter Jacket" for this collection. This jacquard is designed to bring out the ivy pattern through washing and aging.

Using a jacquard loom, we wove the warp with polyester and the weft with cotton and polyurethane. By using a weaving method that hides the Marlon yarn (polyurethane yarn) only in the ivy pattern sections on the underside, these ivy sections are designed to shrink more easily. When further washed, this principle causes the ivy to emerge with a textured, bumpy effect.

After the fabric is woven, it undergoes a washer process (raw fabric wash). It is then sewn into a product and subjected to an additional product wash, followed by a low-temperature tumble dry. Although the ivy already has a textured, bumpy appearance when the product is finished, we hope you will enjoy how the ivy becomes even more prominent and its shape subtly changes with repeated wear and washing.

This piece features a color scheme inspired by dried ivy crawling on a concrete wall. The body is a continuation of last season's JK02. Built around the theme of reconstruction, it incorporates fabric selvedge and cut-offs in its details. Combined with the washing process, it achieves a vintage-like atmosphere. If using a tumble dryer for care, we recommend low to medium temperatures.
