A semi-long stand-collar light coat, lavishly made from a brand-exclusive 3-layer suit fabric that is both water-repellent and moisture-permeable.
This newly developed material combines the appearance of a suit with the functionality of something like Gore-Tex.

While the previous version had issues with reduced water repellency due to bonding, this iteration successfully maintains robust water repellency!
Similar to Gore-Tex, it features a 3-layer bonded structure between the outer and inner fabrics to ensure moisture permeability, while the fabric surface is treated for water repellency.
Beyond its functional aspects, the bonding creates a unique stiffness that results in excellent tailoring and a very clean silhouette when worn.

The body is designed with a stand-collar coat as its motif, but we aimed for a light and casual fit, much like a shirt jacket.
The length is intentionally set to a semi-long 100cm, providing a neat and exquisite length that avoids looking too much like a formal coat.
As the designer himself uses light outerwear most frequently throughout the year, Licht places a strong emphasis on it, making this a signature piece for the brand!

DESCRIPTION

This semi-long bal collar light coat is luxuriously crafted from a brand-exclusive 3-layer suit fabric that combines water repellency and breathability.
It features a newly developed material that offers both the appearance of a suit and the functionality of Gore-Tex.

While the previous model faced the challenge of reduced water repellency due to bonding, this current model is now able to maintain strong water-repellent functionality!
Similar to Gore-Tex, a 3-layer bonded structure is applied between the outer and inner fabrics to ensure breathability, while the fabric surface is treated with water-repellent properties.
Beyond its functionality, the bonding creates a unique stiffness that gives the garment an excellent tailored appearance and a very elegant silhouette when worn.

The body is inspired by a bal collar coat, but we aimed for a design that allows it to be worn lightly and casually, much like a shirt jacket.
The intentionally set semi-long length of about 100cm provides a neat and exquisite length that doesn't feel too much like a heavy coat.
As the designer himself wears light outerwear most frequently in his private life throughout the year, Licht focuses heavily on light outerwear, and this is a piece the brand excels at!
