Semi-long stand-collar light coat made with new TRUSSAIR® TWILL material.

TRUSSAIR® is a textile material developed by Toray using special irregularly shaped hollow fibers. It applies the "truss structure" used in bridge construction and large-scale buildings to fiber design, and is the latest lightweight nylon fabric with the concept of "lighter and more elegant."
Hollow fibers are fibers with a hollow interior, and like bucatini pasta, they are characterized by a chewy texture.
TRUSSAIR® achieves exceptional strength by adopting a special truss structure, making it a textile that is light, fluffy, very durable, and also has excellent tailoring appeal due to its chewy texture.

While the body is based on a stand-collar coat, we aimed for a design that can be worn lightly and casually, like a shirt jacket. The length is also intentionally set to a semi-long length of about 100cm, providing a clean and exquisite length that doesn't feel too much like a coat.
Since light outerwear is the most frequently used item for the designer in his private life throughout the year, Licht focuses on light outerwear, and it is also a specialty of the brand!

DESCRIPTION

A semi-long stand collar light coat made from the new material TRUSSAIR® TWILL.

TRUSSAIR® is a textile material developed by Toray, using special modified hollow fibers. Applying the "truss structure" used in bridge construction and large buildings to textile design, it is the latest lightweight nylon fabric based on the concept of "lighter and more elegant." Hollow fiber refers to a fiber with a hollow core, similar to bucatini pasta, characterized by its springy texture. Despite this, TRUSSAIR® achieves outstanding strength through its special truss structure, making it a textile that is light, fluffy, extremely durable, and has an excellent drape due to its springiness – a true win-win.

While the body is inspired by a stand collar coat, we aimed for a design that allows it to be worn lightly and casually, like a shirt jacket. The length is intentionally set to a semi-long 100cm, providing a clean, exquisite length that doesn't feel too much like a coat. As the designer himself uses light outerwear most frequently throughout the year in his private life, LICHT focuses on light outerwear, and this is a garment the brand excels at!
