The new A-2 flight jacket is made of the finest new taffeta fabric, which is made by weaving a mixture of silk thread and semi-dull polyester into the warp threads and using an incredible 300 threads per thread. It features a smooth drape and outstanding texture that you wouldn't expect from taffeta.

Three different types of embroidery were applied to the sleeves, aiming to recreate a three-dimensional effect like a sculpture. This original graphic captures the life of a cucumber plant (a type of weed) that grows vigorously through roadside moss and cracks in the asphalt. The cucumber plant part uses the latest embroidery technique called park processing.

Perc processing is a technique that has its roots in Japanese clothing, and is an embroidery process that applies discharge printing technology. A cellulose plate is sandwiched between the embroidered part, embroidered, and then dissolved in perchloroethylene to complete the process, resulting in a unique texture and three-dimensional embroidery that stands out. 100% of the perchloroethylene used in the manufacturing process can be recovered and reused, making it an environmentally friendly, sustainable, cutting-edge processing technique. The hem is a combination of organza and jacquard embroidery.

Other features include Licht's iconic zip-up side vents and three-dimensional patterning on the back. The design is unlined and finished in a light style, making it suitable for long periods of time throughout the year.
