Ivy-growing jacquard 2.0, with graphics and yarn blend re-engineered for this collection, and new low-rise 5P semi-flared pants.
This season's jacquard is created with the concept of making the ivy stand out through washing and aging.
Using a jacquard loom, polyester is used for the warp and cotton and polyurethane for the weft. By weaving the Marlone yarn, which is a polyurethane yarn, only under the ivy pattern (hidden on the back), only the ivy part is prone to shrinkage. By further washing it, the ivy becomes embossed and stands out.

After the fabric is woven, it undergoes a washer process (raw fabric wash), then it's sewn into a product, followed by another product wash, and finished with a low-temperature tumble dry.
By the time it becomes a product, the ivy already has an embossed texture. We hope you will enjoy how the ivy further stands out and subtly changes shape with repeated wear and washing.

This piece features a color scheme inspired by withered ivy crawling on a bare concrete wall.
The selvage is used for the side lines, and other parts feature a cut-off finish, giving it a natural damaged look.

The body is a new model created by remaking a Levi's® ️505 size 36 inches purchased at a flea market, then pattern tracing and retouching the silhouette after the remake.
The low-rise tailoring after a long time perfectly matches the current mood. Although the patterning looks semi-flared, it is actually straight, which is also a key point.


 *Fraying is part of the design. It will change with repeated wear. While stitching has been applied to prevent fraying that affects quality, please refrain from intentionally pulling it strongly, as this may cause unexpected damage.

When ironing the quality label, do not use steam. Iron from the reverse side at a low temperature of 110°C or less to smooth it out.

DESCRIPTION

The latest addition to our collection is the "Growing Ivy Jacquard 2.0," a new low-rise 5-pocket semi-flared pant, featuring redesigned graphics and yarn blend. This jacquard is created with the concept of making the ivy pattern emerge through washing and aging. Using a jacquard loom, the warp is polyester, and the weft is cotton and polyurethane. By using a weaving method where the polyurethane yarn (Marlon yarn) is only tucked underneath the ivy pattern (hidden on the back), only the ivy sections are prone to shrinkage. By further washing, the ivy will distinctly rise to the surface.

After weaving, the fabric undergoes a pre-wash (washer finish). After garment construction, it undergoes an additional product wash and is finished with low-temperature tumbling. When the product is new, the ivy already has a textured, raised appearance. We hope you will enjoy observing how the ivy becomes even more prominent and the shape subtly changes with repeated wear and washing.

This piece features a color scheme inspired by dried ivy creeping up a concrete wall. The selvedge of the fabric is used for the side seams, and other areas incorporate cut-off finishes, adding a natural distressed look.

The body is a new model created by remaking a pair of Levi's® 505s in size 36, purchased at Furuichi, and then pattern tracing and retouching the post-remake silhouette. The long-awaited low-rise cut feels perfect for the current mood. Although the patterning appears semi-flared, it is actually a straight cut, which is another key feature.
