Following on from the previous corduroy, this new short-sleeved compact shirt is made from cupro twill fabric with pigment dyeing applied to the raw material. The pigment dyeing on the smooth cupro twill creates a unique fabric that has a denim-like appearance but retains the comfortable feel of cupro.

The fabric is pigment-dyed in its raw state, then tailored with regular stitching, and finally garment-washed to achieve a natural faded look.
This product has undergone a one-wash and tumble finish, so with each wear, the fade will deepen, allowing you to enjoy its aging process.
You can "grow" it like denim, but its characteristic is that it's much lighter and cooler to wear than denim.
It's a new sensation textile specifically designed for the humid and stuffy spring/summer seasons in Japan. The fabric selvage is used for the切り替え部分 (transition/switch-over part) to create a natural fringe design.

The body is designed to be more compact, based on the previous season's SH08 long-sleeved model.
This item's concept is to utilize the unique characteristics of the fabric, so we kept the design as minimal and simple as possible. This sizing is a perfect match for the current mood.

※We recommend washing this item separately for the first few washes due to the possibility of color transfer.
※Fraying is part of the design. It will change with repeated wear. While the stitching is designed to prevent fraying that would affect quality, intentionally pulling strongly may cause unexpected damage, so please refrain from doing so.

DESCRIPTION

Following on from the corduroy of the previous collection, we're introducing a new short-sleeve compact shirt made from cupra twill fabric that has undergone pigment dyeing in its raw state. The smooth cupra twill is pigment-dyed, giving it a denim-like appearance while retaining the comfort of cupra, making it a unique fabric.

The fabric is pigment-dyed in its raw state, then sewn with regular stitching, and finally garment-washed to create a natural faded look. This product undergoes a one-wash and tumble-dry finish, so the fade will deepen with each wear, allowing you to enjoy its aging process. You can "grow" it like denim, but it's much lighter and cooler to wear compared to denim. This new textile feels like it was specifically designed for the humid and stuffy Japanese spring and summer. By using the selvedge of the fabric for the seam allowance, we've created a natural fringe design.

The body is based on the SH08 long-sleeve model from the previous season, but with a more compact design. The concept of this model is to highlight the unique characteristics of the fabric, so we've kept the design as minimal and simple as possible. This sizing perfectly matches the current mood.

*For the first few washes after purchase, we recommend washing separately due to the possibility of dye transfer.
*Fraying is part of the design. It will change with repeated wear. We have incorporated stitching to prevent excessive fraying, so fraying that would affect quality is not expected. However, please refrain from deliberately pulling strongly on the fabric, as this may cause unexpected damage.
